Comfort Inn Applevalley – Sevierville, Tenn.

Linda Russell, general manager of the Comfort Inn Applevalley and Jeff Large have shared a business relationship for more than 15 years. Most recently, they worked together to renovate the motel's on-premise laundry. Laundry Systems of Tennessee installed a lint-processing machine, a 50-pound capacity Continental Pro-Series Washer-Extractor and several Continental Drying Tumblers.

“I have worked with Jeff for more than 15 years and in that time Jeff has always been punctual, arriving on time or returning my phone calls within the hour,” says Russell. “If he says he is going to do something for you, he is going to do it. Neither quality is easy to find in a laundry distributor. Jeff understands that it is essential to our industry to have clean laundry. If we have a machine down, he does whatever it takes to get it up and running as soon as possible.”

Mountain Fresh Hospitality Services Inc. – Sevierville, Tenn.

Mountain Fresh Hospitality Services profit has skyrocketed thanks to the strategic decision to add commercial laundry services to their janitorial/housekeeping business with the help of Laundry Systems of Tennessee. Today, Mountain Fresh's commercial laundry business generates 45 to 50 percent of the company's sales. Before Angie Smith, owner, did all of the laundry from her garage with two top-load washers and two dryers. Now they have expanded into a 10,000 square-foot building complete with some of Continental's largest washer-extractors and two flatwork ironers, specifically designed to handle the company's growing laundry needs. Just 18 months after installing its 32-inch Continental ironer, linen production and sales doubled. The new ironer eliminated the need to run additional shifts to keep up with linen volume.

“For years I shied away from sheet-only customers and big hotels and resorts because of the labor expense. We could not have handled that kind of volume on the small press without running it 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The new press opened the door for us to tackle any job. Now it doesn't matter if a client has 50 hotel rooms or 1,500. I know we can do it.”

“Over the last 15 years, we have trusted Jeff with all of our laundry needs for our five hotels. His commendable and reliable work is the reason we continue to use Laundry Systems of Tennessee.”

Rentals! Rentals – Sevierville, Tenn.

At Rentals! Rentals, an 23-year old party-rental company in Knoxville, Tenn., a simple change in commercial laundry equipment spurred a dramatic, 200 percent increase in business over just two years. At the suggestion of Jeff Large of Laundry Systems of Tennessee, the company installed a new Continental Washer-Extractor and Flatwork Ironer. Large's equipment suggestions quadrupled production and increased sales growth.

“Before there was no possible way to get all of the laundry done. Now if someone wants 20 ivory table cloths, we can get it done easily. What we can do now in a day, would have taken a week before!”
